Hsu-Yuan Liu

I like flowers. When I saw certain flowers in the U.S. for the first time I was quite excited. Some of these flower are not found
in my native Taiwan, so my expression of these are fresh, lovely and promising.

One day while riding my bicycle to the Missouri Botanical Garden I passed many streets along the way. The scenes on the
streets were very fresh for me so when I returned to my studio I was eager to paint what I saw. It motivated me to paint
cityscapes, some that you see on this page.
