Betty Laur
I create art to feel the excitement of completing a painting that began with an idea or inspiration from a shape, a color, or object-- to
depict that inspiration on a two-dimensional plane through a combination of paint, technique, composition, color, light and shadow.
My commitment to forever grow and learn opens new avenues to explore, which I pursue with passion and persistence.
I paint my surroundings, inspired by things I see every day--tropical trees, sunrises, sunsets, the ocean, animals, and birds. My art
has created happiness for many people, for which I am extremely grateful.
