Lynda Berg
I attended the Art Institute of Chicago for three years, majoring in interior design. Although I enjoyed that aspect
of the art field, my real desire was to paint. My studio, “Three Oaks,” is located on our ranch north of Bryan,
Texas. We have a summer home in Michigan where I enjoy painting the woods, lake shore and surrounding
areas.
I enjoy Plein Air painting, working in my studio during the winter months, setting up my own still life
compositions. Being an avid gardener, the roses in my floral compositions are from my garden. I like the look of
loose brush strokes and subjects that are bright with light, rich color, and deep shadows.
