Mike Bell

All my paintings are inspired by the textures, rhythms, light and contrasts in manmade and natural forms on the  wild
Northumberland Coast in the UK  where I live and  had a studio for 25 years while teaching and lecturing. I live near
the Scottish border where the light and landscape are fascinating and inspirational, often called "The land of Far
Horizons." Many different media are used in my work including paint, inks
, tissues, sand, foils, and metallic spray
paints.
