Patsy Lindamood

I’m a credit union CEO by day, since 1988, and a painter “by night,” since late 2001.  I am drawn to portraiture – of
wildlife and of “domestic life.” I seek to capture the “beingness” of my subjects in a way that pushes the limits of
two-dimensional work. I want the textures of fur or feathers or skin to compel an impulse to experience them
tactilely.  I want the dimensionality of my subjects to give the illusion they just might emerge from their frames at
any moment.
